Fimelato's journey towards a tailored wedding suit
The gentleman looking for an extra touch of luxury knows he can rely on tailor-made tailoring services to compose his wardrobe with taste and elegance. The hand-sewn clothes will reflect your personal needs thanks to the experience of the consultants and tailors who will work on your garments. For this reason, even on the most important day of his life, the day of his wedding, the gentleman will not be able to give up a suit that makes him feel confident and flawless. For the Fimelato team, making a wedding suit is a special occasion, so we recommend starting the process at least 5 months before the date. Today we will illustrate all the steps that lead to the final result, to discover together the methodical work thanks to which the groom can feel that he is in his best shape.
Packing your bags: setting the context
In order for the groom's suit to be perfect, we believe that first of all it is necessary to know as many details as possible about the event. When the customer arrives in the store asking for a tailored wedding suit, our style consultant will take care to understand the location of the event, the time it will take place, if it will be a civil or religious ceremony. This information is essential to be able to choose the ideal model of wedding suit. But that's not all: the customer's taste is the most important factor! It will be the responsibility of our style consultant to find the dress that perfectly combines the tastes of the future groom and the context of the event.
Departure: proposals and measures
Once the consultation is complete, our style consultant will be able to propose pre-made models present in our shop, which will serve as a sample for the tailor-made: tight, half tight, tuxedo, suit with waistcoat. Only after having chosen the model together with the customer can you take the customer's measurements and proceed with the selection of fabrics and accessories: linings, buttons, buttonholes, all the details that will make the dress unique.
First stage: the rough test
One month after the first preparatory meeting, the customer will be contacted to carry out a first try on the dress. In fact, it will only take a month for the construction phase, but the work will be far from finished! In this phase, the customer will wear his wedding suit for the first time, without defect, to see broadly that the suit is taking the right shape. It is necessary for the customer to wear this first draft of the dress in order to be able to perfect it later.
Second stage: with accessories
The second test is carried out after a month and a half away from the first, not only to allow our tailors to perfect the suit, but also to allow the customer to get the accessories he will wear at the wedding. In fact, during the second test the customer will wear the suit with shoes, belt, suspenders, shirt and tie, in order to complete the finishing of the suit with its accessories.
Change while traveling: we anticipate your stress
Another month and a half after the second appointment, the customer will carry out an additional test necessary for our tailors to ensure that he has kept the same physical shape as when it was measured. The stress of approaching the date can often lead to an increase or decrease in weight, factors that strongly affect the performance of a tailored suit.
The goal
And here we are at the final stage. During this meeting the customer will carry out the last definitive test and, if everything is perfect, he will be able to collect his tailored wedding suit.
For the Fimelato team it is therefore essential to act with time and precision, in order to be able to follow the customer in peace step by step throughout the journey that will accompany him to the event. For us it is not just about the dress, but about creating a welcoming environment where the customer can feel free to express himself and share his emotions.
