Fimelato's tailoring recipes

Happy Thursday with Fimelato sartorial recipes! Today we want to refresh you with a look that recalls the cold colors of blue in its shades, to bring to mind the fresh sensation of sea water on the skin. We will then go and see how to combine different ingredients of unquestionable quality, handmade and Made in Italy. If you too want to refresh your outfit in these first hot days, follow all the steps and you will discover the perfect look to wear. We also remind you that our recipes are ideas that want to inspire you to experiment with new combinations and combinations: let yourself be captivated by our experiments and create your own recipe!

First step to make this recipe is to spread the base: we choose a versatile and ideal one for the summer, that is a cotton Zephir shirt with cuff for cufflinks: simple and refined, with a French collar. Its classic lines and bright cotton make it refined and elegant on every occasion, a must that every gentleman should have in his wardrobe. Furthermore, the Zephir shirt is particularly suitable for wearing in summer because it is very light and breathable.

Over the shirt, let's lay out an original and refined jacket: it is a Naples blue jacket with a slightly mélange wool and linen fabric, for a dynamic and even fresher effect. The jacket is completely full length, with open buttonholes and embroidery behind the collar. Its composition makes it light for these sunny days and breathable. In fact, wool tends to maintain body temperature while linen leaves the skin dry and clean even on the hottest days.

On top of the Zephir shirt and the Napoli blue jacket, we are going to spread a Sette Pieghe tie made by hand with the finest silks: we choose a bright color, a shade of light and bright blue, decorated with classic Italian micro designs in shades of white and red. This tie stands out both on the white of the shirt and on the blue of the jacket, perfectly blending the two ingredients. We tie the tie with a four in hands knot, a simple and informal knot that is well suited to the look we are cooking.

But our recipe isn't complete yet! To create a contrast with the lower part of the look, we choose a four seasons wool trousers in a very dark midnight blue color that recalls the buttons of the jacket. The tone therefore remains in nuance, but the darker color gives an extra pinch of character to the whole mix of ingredients.

Finally, we cannot forget the detail that makes the recipe perfect for all true gentlemen: a cotton clutch bag with embroidered initials, to be folded into a flower and inserted in the pocket. Never forget the clutch bag, the detail that really makes the difference. For this recipe we have chosen one in white cotton, but you can indulge your imagination and combine a colored or patterned clutch.

Our recipe is then ready to be served!
