How to dress for Easter
Easter holidays are now approaching, and with them they bring the spirit of celebration and rebirth typical of this time of year. Whether you spend these days with family or friends, in the city or out of town, as a true gentleman you cannot give up on impeccable style on this occasion. So here are some tips and ideas for different looks, perfect for different occasions and locations.
Easter with the family
Despite the famous saying "Christmas with your family, Easter with whoever you want", these days of celebration can be an opportunity for many to spend carefree and happy time with their family. If you share the Easter lunch with your relatives, we suggest a sober look with a touch of originality and elegance. We therefore propose a shirt in cotton Zephir, white and bright, with a French collar that allows a greater opening of the collar flaps. Over the shirt you can wear a dark blue four-season wool blazer, ideal for this time of year when temperatures are variable. In fact, wool will allow you to keep your body temperature constant whatever the external climatic conditions. To give more brightness to the look at this point we suggest you combine a Seven Folds silk tie, which alternates blue diagonal stripes with blue stripes. In this way you can give continuity to the color of the blazer but you will make it brighter thanks to the contrast with a lighter shade. In this case, the suspenders are inevitable, which can resume the colors of the look with stripes in shades of blue and white, or for a more classic effect you can choose them entirely in white. Finally, never forget the clutch bag, which you can fold into a flower for a more cheerful effect and suitable for the holiday period.
Easter by the sea
A perfect destination for the long Easter weekend are all the seaside resorts. In our beautiful country, wherever you are, it is certainly not difficult to find a way to spend a couple of days by the sea, to breathe the first scent of summer and enjoy the clear April sun. Again we want to give you some inspiration for your look. With the milder temperatures typical of seaside resorts, a wool and cotton dress will be perfect, light and breathable but that will envelop you perfectly and never make you feel too light. To recall the location in which you will be, we suggest a Naples blue dress, to be combined with a white and candid leno shirt. In this festive situation you could also decide, especially if you are very young, not to wear a tie, but if you don't want to give it up, you can choose a radiant blue one, with a touch of aquamarine green, enlivened by Italian geometric designs in shades of blue. and bordeaux. As for the trousers, you can complete the suit with a multicheck in shades of blue and green, or opt for a more classic dark blue trousers. Don't forget the flower folded clutch bag in this case too!
Easter in the mountains
If you are more of a mountain type, a walker, a complete immersion in nature, don't worry: the peculiarity of tailored suits is that they can really be adapted to any occasion and location. You don't have to dress in a sporty way if fleece and tracksuits don't make you feel comfortable. Of course you can find a compromise that preserves your gentleman's look without seeming excessive even on this occasion. If the temperatures during your excursions are lower, wear a blue wool sweater with a high collar, which will also protect your throat from possible cold shocks. Combine above with a coral-colored jacket, which will create a pleasant contrast and combined with the sweater will not have a formal rendering. You can maintain the coherence of the look with a soft blue trousers with a slightly lower waist than usual, and wear sneakers or lace-up boots instead of the classic leather shoe.
Easter in the city
Between relatives, friends, sea and mountains, you want to opt for a weekend in the city, perhaps even abroad, to discover new streets, museums, cultures. If you are curious to always discover new things, you can show your nature even through a more eccentric look. We therefore suggest a slightly more daring combination that always finds a balance between all its elements. Over a white Royal Oxford shirt, wear a flamingo pink Seven Folds tie. Combine this with a slightly melange aquamarine green wool and cotton jacket: the two colors together will give an eclectic and sparkling look, which will immediately allow you to stand out if you make new acquaintances. Complete with multicheck trousers in shades of coral and pink, always slightly mélange, and fold the clutch bag into a crown for a true gentleman's result.
