Fimelato 4 you

Marzia Demurtas, Sales Leader and member of the Scientific Committee of the Fimelato Foundation

1. Marzia, your work revolves around growth. But what does "expanding" mean to you today, in a saturated and often fragmented world?

Expanding today means creating concrete and sustainable value, not just opening new channels or increasing revenue. It means quickly reading the context, understanding where there's room for improvement, innovation, and simplification. Growth can be achieved even in mature markets, but it requires commercial vision combined with disciplined execution. And true expansion happens when a growth project is shared with people, because that's where potential truly unleashes itself.

2. Your profile says "relational leadership." How do you truly cultivate a relationship that generates mutual value?

With consistency, care, and courage. Lasting relationships aren't built in easy moments, but through the quality of presence during complex transitions. Being a leader, for me, means being there authentically, even when there are tensions or difficult decisions to make. It's a daily effort, made up of listening, attention, and small gestures that make a difference.

3. You said yes to the Fimelato ETS Foundation. What struck you most, what made you feel "at home"?

I was struck by its coherence. The ability to bring together business and culture, action and vision, words and gestures. I felt "at home" because the Foundation promotes, with sobriety and depth, values in which I deeply believe: kindness, elegance, beauty, solidarity, respect. Not as a framework, but as a concrete lever for transformation.

5. What's a simple gesture that guides you when things get complex?

Talking directly with people. A phone call, a coffee, a moment to ask:
"How are you? What can we do to improve our work together? Is there anything we can do to better support you?"
This kind of authentic listening has often generated new possibilities, released tensions, and opened up new directions. Even just taking the time to genuinely ask how things are going is a small but powerful gesture.

6. A year from now, what would you like to have built together with the Foundation?

And what do you hope to have inspired in those who meet you?

I would like to have contributed to a project that highlights how culture and kindness can generate real development, even in professional contexts. And I hope to have inspired, with my style and contribution, the possibility of a leadership that combines strength and humanity, vision and respect.
