Three looks for Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day, the day to celebrate your love: a party for everyone, but not everyone with their own style in line with good taste! Today I will suggest three different looks based on age to be elegant and refined but without trespassing into overdressed.

Look for young boy

Like so many other things in life, the look should also adapt to the person's age and context. So let's start with a sober but well-finished look for younger guys who want to make a good impression with their better half in this special evening. My advice is to dress with an informal mood: casual but always with taste. An oxford shirt in light blue fabric and buttom down will therefore work perfectly, combined with a crewneck sweater in plain beige. For the trousers I recommend a chino with a simple brown suede shoe, which can range from moccasins to ankle boots. This type of footwear completes the casual but tasteful outfit, appropriate for this occasion and overall gives a youthful look. This look is suitable for both a dinner at home and a dinner out, because the young age of the boy allows him to be able to present himself well even with a clean and sober outfit, without committing to an outerwear.

Young man

In the case of a young man, however, I recommend wearing at least a jacket. Compared to the boy, in fact, for the man the jacket is a must even in his free time, when he wants to be well-groomed and well-dressed. A perfect solution to combine sobriety and refinement can be a blue blazer with a light blue stick shirt and beige washed cotton trousers. For a quiet dinner with the sweetheart I do not recommend the tie, which is too formal, while for the shoe I go back to suggesting the classic brown suede.

Adult man

In the case of the mature man, however, the suit is a must also for these occasions. An excellent choice will be that of a suit with micro processing, for example a very small herringbone pattern, or with a micro check pattern. The shirt must be strictly white and with cufflinks on the wrist. Also in this case you can avoid the tie in favor of a cachecol or an ascot. Remember that the Ascot must always be in fantasy and never in a solid color! The man dressed in the suit and the ascot always has a gentleman and bon ton allure. As for accessories, for the mature man it is better to choose them black, like a diplomatic shoe.
